OSAll Network Debuts
Mike Hudack
Well, it was to almost no fanfare that the OSAll Network debuted on Tuesday. We didn´t announce it, we didn´t issue press releases and we didn´t have any special parties for media elite.
Hell, the site wasn´t even done yet. We just got tired of waiting. Right now only the OSAll News section of the site is done. OSAll Culture, OSAll Talking and OSAll Exploits will come soon.
Each section of the Network has its own editor with a few minions attached. Thanks go out to the editors and their minions who aren´t really getting paid for their work.
The OSAll Exploits section will feature all the exploits we could compile in an easily searchable database. They won´t be stolen from other sites either (except with permission) -- unlike some exploit collection sites (ahem). We´ll also mirror all the latest CERT advisories and bulletins and the like.
OSAll Culture will be a spot for people to discuss the hacking and security culture, with the latest articles about it too. We recruited a really cool hacker fiend to do that stuff. We´re sure you´ll like his work -- if he ever gets off his ass and makes it public :-)
OSAll Talking is just a place for people to hang out and discuss the latest bull. The OSAll BBSystem will be there along with regularly scheduled chats on EFNet.
Once the entire OSAll Network is online we´re positive you´ll love it. In the mean time it´s pretty much the same old OSAll with a new name. Hope you don´t mind.
Oh, by the way, wait until you see some of the software Owl Services is cooking up for the future! It won´t be public for months (and months probably) but it´s some pretty sweet stuff.
