PSS Goes Live
9/22/99

John James
OSAll Contributor

Packet Storm Security, recently purchased by Kroll O´Gara, has finally gone live.  It was originally run by Ken Williams as a source for freeware security software and exploits.

The new PSS seems to continue this legacy -- but with several shortcomings.  First of all, the graphics are too big and the site isn´t well enough organized.  Anyone without a cable modem is probably going to be a little pissed.

O´Gara (and their subsidiary securify.com) spent months working on the new PSS so you´d think they could do a better job.  In the end, though, it´s the content that counts.  And the content kicks ass.
