The United Loan Gunmen are, at the time of this writing, responsible for seven extremely high profile Web site defacements. One of their Web site defacements has even been up twenty-four hours so far, and still counting -- the Associated Press can´t figure out how to get their site back up.
So, who are the United Loan Gunmen? They are two individuals, one mentor and one student. They are, at this point, two Windows NT experts. They´re self-admitted "black hats" but at this point some may consider them "gray hats" after they released a Windows NT fix to OSAll.
OSAll has talked to the two members of ULG on numerous occasions, with one of the conditions being that we cannot quote them. With that in mind, though, there are several things I can tell you...
The members of ULG (often known as Bill and Ted) are incredibly intelligent and very talented. They have a great sense of humor and deface sites not to be cool but to have a little fun. |
