Vent, Head of L7 Speaks

In accordance with OSAllīs interview policy the following interview is offered verbatim and unedited in any way. With that in mind, however, Iīve decided to add a small amount of commentary to the beginning of this interview:
Defacements take place daily -- and the major ones reach the mainstream media. The media, by giving attention to these defacers (usually script kiddies) is helping to encourage this action. The media, on the other hand, does have an obligation to report the news -- and the defacement of a site such as the United States Chinese Embassy is news.
Vent has been accused by many (if not most) of being "hardly even a script kiddie." OSAll would tend to agree with this. We present these interviews without editing simply to allow you to decide -- itīs a way for these people to make their argument directly to you. On the other hand weīve decided that this should be prefixed with a quick note about Ventīs skill.
It should also be noted that Vent himself has defaced almost no sites (including this particular one) and that his friends deface all of L7īs claimed sites. All of his friends agree with this sentiment.
In the following interview Vent, the head of L7, tells us that he feels heīs addicted to defacing. In addition he admits -- for the first time -- that heīs a script kiddie.
