Y2k You´re Okay

About two months ago I went to a show called y2k -- you´re okay, put on by Chicago City Limits, originally of Chicago, transplanted to New York. The show was hilarious, although not all of it delt with the year two thousand.
Chicago City Limits was quite correct. It´s 2000 and we´re okay. Besides tiny problems, like a Compaq Web site reporting that it´s year 200, we´re fine.
No bombs in Times Square, nothing. You already know this. So what´s the point of this story? Terrorism didn´t strike at Times Square, despite the threat of Anthrax and similiar biological and chemical weapons.
It´s y2k, and we´re okay. |
